HR Advisor
Are you an experienced HR advisor, looking to move in to a dynamic and challenging role?
Randstad Engineering are on the look out for a HR Advisor to be based in Willenahall for one of our top clients, on a salary of GBP30,000 per year for an initial 6 months contract.
We are looking for an experienced HR Advisor to join the HR Function at our clients site in Willenhall. HR Advisors provide a generalist, HR Operations service which is fully integrated with and complements the other components of the HR Operating Model. They are responsible for ensuring the day-to-day delivery of a professional, cost effective HR service to line managers, employees and key stakeholders.
The Role
Under the guidance of the Service Delivery Manager, you will maintain a relationship with designated areas and the relevant HR Business Partner or HR Manager. You will support the implementation of HR projects, activities, processes and programmes, developing line managers' capability while improving business performance. You will be a key influencer with stakeholders and have the ability to lead negotiations. You will promote, implement and advise on a range of policies and processes as well as improve the ability of line managers to undertake their people responsibilities effectively and confidently.
You will ensure process steps preparatory to recruitment are completed to enable recruitment activity to progress unhindered, you will also ensure induction arrangements are effective and implemented. Working with line managers, you will ensure they maintain a meaningful and vibrant training plan and provide face-to-face support on training where needed.
You will have the ability to lead negotiations with relevant trade union representatives to deliver organisational change as determined by the business. You will advise and support line managers in respect of HR casework and action process steps, as well as coordinate grievance, disciplinary and termination processes in order that operational efficiency is maximised without compromising employment legislation or company procedure.
As the ideal candidate, you will be
* CIPD qualified with strong HR skills and the ability to provide advice on all HR issues confidently and competently.
* You will have an empathetic and professional approach when dealing with sensitive issues.
* You will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal and a high level of IT proficiency.
