The Isles of Scilly Steamship Group are seeking various applicants to join our marine team aboard our company vessels.
The Isles of Scilly Steamship Group operates shipping, airline and airport services providing lifeline links for both passengers and freight between the Isles of Scilly and the mainland. The group operates the Scillonian III passenger ferry, the Gry Maritha freight vessel and has recently acquired a new freight ship, Mali Rose.
SECOND ENGINEER
2 weeks on 2 weeks off rota
Aboard Scillonian III, a traditional passenger cargo vessel, making one round voyage per day between Penzance and the Isles of Scilly, varying between 4 and 7 voyages per week depending on the season.
Scillonian III is in operation from March to November and undergoes refit work during the winter months.
The successful applicant will be willing to work on other Company vessels as required from time to time.
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Qualifications: STCW 2nd Engineer <3000KW Near Coastal
