Our client is an established North London Housing Association, working across four boroughs - Enfield, Barnet, Haringey and Waltham Forest. Their purpose is to identify local needs, to respond to these needs with local solutions and to provide excellent services. They invest in high quality housing, support and services that are affordable and accessible to those in housing need.
They currently employ 80 staff in a variety of roles within their Head Office in Enfield and surrounding areas. They are looking for an Interim L&D Advisor to work alongside the Head of HR and HR Advisor to deliver the HR plan over the next year. This includes working on some exciting projects such as the roll out of a management development programme, develop an apprenticeship programme, review of the appraisal tool-kit in line with a reward and recognition scheme and H&S training requirements.
Alongside this you will provide business specific advice to managers on identifying and setting objectives, observing and assessing potential. You will build positive relationships across the organisation and provide a coaching and partnering approach to upskill, problem solve, suggest improvements and solutions.
The successful candidate will need to be available to start in mid-January, have experience within a similar L&D Advisor role and organisation, have practical experience of the full training cycle and the ability to give pragmatic, business-focused guidance to managers. You must be a confident user of IT particularly MS Office and previous experience of Cascade would be ideal, but certainly in using HR databases.
In return our client offers a supportive, friendly and flexible working environment, excellent benefits including a health care cash plan, generous pension scheme, free parking and much more. You will occasionally be required to visit the services within the Boroughs they operate so the ability to drive with access to a vehicle is desirable. All members of the HR team work on a part time basis, so we can be flexible with the days worked as long as there is cover each day.
