Assistant Accountant

A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated Assistant Accountant to join our team in Newcastle. Reporting into the Business Accountants, you will process business transactions to a high and accurate standard and support the workload of management as required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Month end accounting
  • Assist with quarterly forecasting
  • Support year end preparation and statutory reporting
  • Balance sheets reconciliation
  • Ad-hoc provision of information as required
  • Preparation of weekly forecasting

The Ideal Candidate

To be successful in this role, you will be AAT qualified as a minimum, ideally currently studying or wishing to study for CIMA or equivalent (study support package available ). Along with this you must possess a minimum of 5 GCSE's or equivalent, be a strong team player and reflect excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
