Are you a skilled copywriter who's fascinated by tech? Do you want to take over our internal communications and ensure your copy makes an impact from day one? Then there's a 99% chance this is the job for you!
We need you to become our multifaceted Copywriter and internal communications expert, creating both customer Campaign Briefs (job specs on steroids) plus engaging content marketing and internal communications such as company newsletters. We need brilliantly written, thought-provoking content to solidify our position at the forefront of Tech hiring.
We're on a mission to put planning and career growth at the heart of all technical hiring. Currently, the world of recruitment is dictated by cowboys and unethical practices - we think that's just not good enough! We work as tech business consultants, advising on everything from business growth planning to interview training to sourcing outstanding applicants. So, we need you to join us as Copywriter to help us spread the word.
You'll report to our Head of Marketing and Content, Abbie - she's getting more and more involved in wider business strategy so, she'll rely on you to work autonomously, report accurately, be creative, and continuously suggest better and bolder approaches to our marketing. Don't worry though, you won't be alone! You'll work very closely with our brilliant technical copywriter, Murray, who currently curates our blog (check it out talentpoint.co/blog) and has millions of ideas about what we should do next..but he needs your help and marketing expertise!
To succeed as our Copywriter you will:
* Bring your writing expertise: We're not fussy about your exact previous experience but you must be a proactive copywriter - we want to see something you've published online where you're the expert. It might be content for your current company, guest blogs, your own Medium or personal blog feed. We don't mind, we just want to see examples where you're the subject specialist.
* Understand B2B marketing: Your personal blogging, social media and design skills will be important, but you'll need to understand the different approach needed to market to businesses. Ideally, you'll have experience as a Copywriter or Marketing generalist in a tech business or, if not, in a consultancy of some sort who provide advice to other businesses.
* Rejuvenate: Bring fresh ideas to turn our vast swathes of Tech market data into engaging content, from white papers to blogs, social media, market reports or case studies???
* Set the bar: As Copywriter, you'll proofread and edit writing from our other Technical writers and ensure that NOTHING slips through the net. We're the final checkpoint before materials reach customers or job applicants - you'll gently but firmly push back to ensure only the very best quality writing is released.
* Learn, learn, learn: If you're not from a tech background (or even if you are!), you'll have a steep learning curve but you'll be well supported by the rest of the content team. You'll question everything but use your initiative, and you'll tell us about many times when you've self-taught stemming from your own curiosity.
* Communicate and collaborate: You'll have experience working with colleagues of all levels in a business, balancing requests from senior management whilst ensuring your opinions were heard.
Above all, you need to be fascinated by technology - it's at the heart of everything we do! Your growth opportunities are limitless, because we're growing fast and, as a small but rapidly growing business, there are many ways to expand your role laterally too. Are you up to the challenge?
Apply now! Send your CV now with a few lines telling us: Why technology? Why this copywriting job? Why now????!
