Job title: HGV/LGV Mechanic
Location: Bradford
Salary: GBP13.00p/h - GBP15.00p/h
Hours: Monday - Friday or Tuesday - Saturday. 12pm - 8pm
Job Type: Full-time & Permanent
An exciting opportunity has just become available in with a transport company based in Bradford. This company is now looking to recruit an experienced HGV/LGV Mechanic due to expansion and busy workload.
The company offers:
• Basic Salary: GBP13p/h - GBP15p/h (dependant on experience)
• A 24/7 company means overtime is available.
• A challenging and varied working environment with progression opportunities.
Your duties will include:
• Ensuring that the HGVs/LGVs and trailers are kept in service by monitoring and repairing defects as they arise.
• Putting in place a preventative maintenance schedule (every 6 weeks for vehicles and every 12 weeks for trailers)
• Liaising with transport management to ensure compliance requirements are met.
• MOT Preparation
• Engine and Gearbox repairs
You are required to have:
• Have relevant qualifications or experience required to maintain vehicles and trailers.
• Have a flexible approach to work - they are a 24/7 company and you will be expected to work to meet business demands.
• Be able to manage your time effectively, working both alone and as part of a team.
• Possess a valid C + E licence.
• Be able to provide your own tools that are sufficient to meet job demands.
