Somerset Live/Bath Live is looking for a highly-talented and creative digital journalist to drive and grow our weekend operation.
The perfect candidate will have not only have an impeccable news sense, but also a clear understanding of what our audience wants and when they want it.
Working Wednesday to Sunday, the Weekend Digital Content Editor will drive audience to our digital publishing platforms and help guide the reporting team.

- Maintain a strong online presence across social media platforms
- Build audience engagement through excellent online storytelling abilities
- Provide direction to fellow journalists
- Create and present engaging content based on search and social media trends and audience behaviour - often when time is of the essence.
The Ideal Candidate
You'll demonstrate initiative, be a self-starter with experience in content management systems and analytics.
We expect candidates to have the National Qualification of Journalism or equivalent but will consider, in special circumstances, applicants without this who have an an exceptional track record in digital publishing. A driving licence is essential.
