Based in Stoke on Trent with easy transport links to the North West, West Midlands and East Midlands, Stoke on Trent College is the largest provider of further education in Stoke and North Staffordshire, with around 10,000 students each year on full-time and part-time study programmes, apprenticeships, professional qualifications and university-level courses. We also help thousands of local people each year to gain the basic skills needed for work, be it English and maths, employability skills or specific work-related qualifications. We have an exciting new opportunity for a Digital Marketing Officer to join our team. The primary focus of this role is to generate content across key marketing areas such as, social media, video, communications and PR.  The successful candidate will have experience in marketing and social media and will be passionate about multimedia content/social/PR/video.  Highly motivated, you will be keen to learn and adapt to your new environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Producing a content strategy for Stoke on Trent College
  • Updating all Stoke on Trent College social media channels
  • Production and distribution of Stoke on Trent College Videos and photography
  • Reviewing, updating and maintaining the Stoke on Trent College video and photo library
  • Working with colleagues to produce relevant PR & marketing communications
