Search Consultancy is currently working with a Merseyside based Housing Association to recruit an Affordable Warmth Officer.
The post is on a temporary basis and the contract is expected to last until the end of March 2019.
You will work closely with tenants and residents to deliver the Fuel Poverty strategy in the Merseyside area.
This is a varied role with tasks including:
* Working in partnership with local staff to deliver the Fuel Poverty strategy
* Developing strong relationships with other income maximisation team members and frontline staff to coordinate the Housing Association's approach to fuel poverty
* Providing information and advice relating to affordable warmth both internally to staff and externally to tenants and residents and local organisations
* Assisting tenants and residents to access local sources of savings, loans, grants and other energy related support
* Working with local organisations to develop, source funding for and coordinate projects and initiatives aimed at reducing fuel poverty
* Attending events relating to energy efficiency, fuel poverty and wider financial inclusion work
* Collating and promoting best practice in energy efficiency in order to promote the work of the affordable warmth team both internally and externally
* Recording performance data for Affordable warmth
