I am looking to recruit a BOM Administrator/Mods Controller working on new Product Designs for a global company in Leamington Spa.

The company are at the forefront of the products they design and develop and are truly leading experts in what they do.

As the BoM Administrator / Mods Controller you be responsible for compilation and accurate maintenance of the design, ERP (manufacturing BoMs) and spare parts lists. You will also coordinate and manage any new or modified product design and ERP BoM.

You will work closely and liase with the Design, Development, Production, Production Engineering, Supply Chain and Logistics departments.

To operate as part of the PD team whose principle function is

To add and maintain BoMs on both the Tropos ERP system and on the Smarteam PLM (product lifecycle management) system ensuring that the two systems are maintained and aligned
Continuous development of the PLM and ERP systems
To create, maintain and manage the spare parts lists
Compilation and formatting of information that may be publicised on the company web sites

You will be responsible for working from information generated by the product design and engineering teams
Add and maintain the Bills of Materials on both the PLM and ERP system
Co-ordinate with production and engineering to ensure they are aware of product changes and agree their implementation dates
Generate and manage the spare parts lists and update the necessary company web sites and systems
Managing a small team

Ideally you will have the following skills and experience
Worked within a modern manufacturing environment with a PLM and ERP system
Preferred minimum 2 years' experience using a BoM / ERP system
Hold a current UK driving licence
Good analytical skills and attention to detail
Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines
Good communication skills and capable of working effectively in a team environment
Experienced in maintaining Bills of Materials and associated part information
Experience of using corporate level ERP, PLM and Microsoft system

Hours of work are Monday to Thursday 7 - 7 to 16 - 16 and Friday 7 to 12.
