My client, based in Haverhill is seeking a HR Advisor.
Salary GBP30,000 - benefits include 25 days annual leave plus statutory holidays, life assurance of 3 times annual salary and a work place pension scheme.
Hours: 8.30-5pm
The Role
You will assist in the provision of an effective and professional Human Resources Services. Acting as a business partner, you will offer a comprehensive HR service to the Company Teams by providing the following:
Recruitment Service
" Administer and manage recruitment process with Company to ensure that it is carried
out in a professional, timely and cost-effective manner
" Ensure that procedures are followed for all new vacancies (recruitment authorisation, job
descriptions & person specifications are completed)
" Ensure that the most appropriate selection techniques are followed to ensure that the
Company attracts and retains the best candidates.
" Screen applicants and carry out interviews in conjunction with line management as
required
" Facilitate and administer testing when required.
" Ensure that an induction is carried out for all new staff members
Employee Relations Service
" Provide support and advise to employees and managers, on recruitment and selection,
training and developments, employee relations and other employment law issues.
" Support on policy and procedure development to ensure that they are kept up to date
with legislation and Company strategy.
" Carry out personnel reviews and exit interviews along with disciplinary/grievance interviews as appropriate.
Training & Development
" Support training & development within the business
" Provide support to managers to enable them to identify training needs, and record and monitor training activities
" Draft and monitor a training plan linked to business strategy
" Provide of accurate and timely information on training statistics and information within
the Company by a monthly report
Employee Benefits
" Carry out ad hoc administration for the Human Resources Department including health
care scheme, pension scheme
" Produce and maintain a schedule of employee benefits and publicise this to ensure
maximum exposure and take up
Manpower Planning
" Provide statistical information on turnover, sickness and headcount on a monthly
basis
The person
W are looking for an enthusiastic team member with a can-do attitude, who can promote and maintain the profile of the HR department. You will be a minimum of part qualified CIPD and be computer literate. You will also have a good understanding of HR and H&S legislation.
