Our client one of the oldest and largest charities in the world have a fantastic new role for a Fundraising Manager to join them. This role has been created to support the implementation of their first fundraising strategy which sets out their ambition to increase their fundraising from GBP240k to an initial GBP1m with incremental growth targets over the next three years. As the first dedicated fundraising manager in the organisation, this role will be critical in setting up the foundations for becoming a fundraising organisation establishing a permanent fundraising function by Summer 2019.
In the first 6 months of the role the Fundraising Manager will connect with the values and ethos of the organisation and prepare the foundations for fundraising growth, liaising with the Executive Team and external resources. As part of the development of the fundraising function, Director of Fundraising will also be appointed to lead the new department and this role will be a key support to the new Director, driving growth in fundraising up to GBP1m per year.
