Your new company
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a small NFP organisation in Pershore. Due to internal movement, my client is looking for an experienced Finance Manager to support on a 3 month interim basis.

Your new role
Reporting into the CEO, you will be required to ensure the strategic and financial management of the organisation and provide financial, performance and statistical reports which enable the cost effective management of the organisation.

Main duties and responsibilities:

* Provide leadership to the Board's Finance and Accounting strategy to optimise the company's financial performance
* Be responsible for the financial and corporate wellbeing of the company ensuring business plans are affordable and sustainable
* Contribute fully to the development of company strategy across all areas of the business
* Be responsible for the overall management of the organisation's financial, accounting and administrative functions including supervision and training of staff
* Prepare and present financial management reports to managers and the Board
* Monthly management accounts for the organisation and associated companies
* Prepare annual statutory financial accounts for the organisation and associated companies
* Take responsibility for company cash management policies and strategy
* Ensure all financial support systems are compliant, up-to-date and fit for purpose
* Liaise with banks, HMRC and any other statutory bodies
* Manage the payroll, debtors and creditors
* Liaise as appropriate with the organisations' stakeholders, trustees, auditors, clients etc.

What you'll need to succeed

* ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified or QBE
* Experienced in providing commercial and strategic financial management
* The ability to provide financial, performance and statistical reports for a company
* Background in managing/supervising small teams
* Working knowledge of bespoke finance systems - Sage Line 50 would be an advantage
