We currently have an exciting opportunity for an ACT/QUALIFIED DISPENSER  

at the Hawthorn Pharmacy, Scotter

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Dispenser/ACT who is able to quickly adapt to new situations and work independently as well as within the Pharmacy team.

The role

The technician’s role is 23 hours a week (weekdays only and no weekend work) which will equate to 2.5 - 3 days a week, with the flexibility to increase hours as the business demands it and to cover sickness/holidays.  Salary negotiable depending on experience.

The Pharmacy is part of a busy surgery and therefore ideally any experience with working in a busy pharmacy will also be useful.  MDS experience will also help with the expectation that the role will require both dispensing and accuracy checking of prescriptions, blister DDS packs and MDS.  We see the ACT role pivotal in supporting our pharmacists to enable them to deliver services to our patients.  We are looking for:

Although Accuracy Checking Technician Qualification is desired a suitably qualified and experienced Dispenser will also be considered for the role.
