Resourcing Officer
We are hiring! Due to continued growth we are recruiting for a motivated, passionate and driven Resourcing Officer to join our team in Holly Bank, Scropton.
With ambitious plans for the future, there hasn't been a more exciting time to join us. Previous on-site or in-house experience is not essential, applications from agency Recruiters are welcome. What is important is a passion for recruiting, and providing an excellent service to the business.
Purpose of the role
As a member of the Resourcing Team, you'll help manage our resourcing requirements across a range of roles, ensuring that we attract the best talent in the market.
Your key responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
- Work with hiring managers and the wider HR team to understand resourcing needs
- Manage the full recruitment life-cycle, from brief to on-boarding, providing best in class candidates and hiring manager experience
- Identify and source both active and passive talent from a range of appropriate source
- Advertise using relevant channels, media campaigns and recruitment events where appropriate
- Undertake detailed screening to include competency based interviewing where required
- Provide guidance and insights on the candidate market and competitor landscape, advising alternative options to meet the business requirement
- Attend and support at Recruitment fairs in line with our attraction strategy
What we are looking for:
- Solid understanding of best practice principles and processes within recruitment
- Experience of direct hiring at high volume in either a sourcing or recruiter capacity
- Confident in all aspects of direct-hiring recruitment, including Boolean searching, writing job adverts, mining job-boards, etc.
- Evidence of recruiting across a number of skill sets, managing multiple campaigns and roles at any one time
- Strong communication and relationship building skills with an ability to consult and challenge where appropriate
- Experience of using Application Tracking Systems, ideally Eploy
- Clear and eloquent verbal and written communication skills
- There will be a requirement to travel to support resourcing activities such as attending recruitment fairs and offsite Resourcing team meetings. Therefore a full driving license is required
- We employee a diverse workforce, and as such language skills (Hungarian or Romanian) would be an advantage but not a requirement
