I am currently working with a local authority based in Leicestershire to find a Planning Officer to join their busy Development Management team on an initial 6 month basis, although this is likely to extend beyond the initial period.
The role will involve a mixed caseload, ranging from householder applications to complex minors.
The ideal candidate will have:
* Experience of dealing with a mixed caseload of planning applications
* Experience of working in a local authority planning office
* A driving licence for site visits
For the role, the authority is willing to offer a rate of GBP28-GBP35/hr, and are willing to negotiate a flexible working situation.
