JOB: Human Resources Advisor with experience of implementing HR systems
LOCATION: Crewe CW1
SALARY: Circa GBP35k plus holidays, benefits
My client is looking to appoint an HR Advisor. This will be a 12 month contract, most likely commencing in January 2019.
You will provide high level HR administration to this business and support the Senior HR Manager with particular focus on recruitment and performance management. Experience of implementing an HR system (INFOR or similar) is essential. You will be working with other subject-matter experts to implement this new HR system.
It is probable that you will visit other UK sites, so a Driving Licence is essential.
You will be providing consistent advice and guidance relating to Employment Law. You will be supporting sickness, disciplinary and grievance issues, processing and providing advice and guidance in relation to family friendly policies such as maternity lave, paternity leave, flexible working and shared parental leave. You will be co-ordinating the effective delivery of the Occupational Health Service provision and providing advice on absence levels/Bradford Scores, trends, action to take etc.
This role is to support and maintain an already robust HR system - it is less about making changes and more about continuing what is already in place.
Ideally you will have a Certificate in Personnel Practice with a good standard of education. An MCIPD whilst desirable is not essential.
You will have excellent interpersonal/communication skills; organisational and planning skills; competence based interviewing skills; sound knowledge of Employment Law; Effectively handling disciplinary matters; an ability to work under pressure.
If you feel that you wish to be considered for this role, please let me have your CV as soon as possible
