This is a newly created role for an experienced Graphic Designer that has come about due to recent business growth. Our client is a fast-growing, dynamic and innovative business involved in the distribution of consumer products and accessories to large international retailers at home and overseas. The business is now well established, enjoying a consistent period of growth and looking to expand their design department.

Reporting into the Head of Design, this role will be ideal for a natural team player experienced in managing multiple projects and deadlines at the same time. You must also maintain a strong standard of Graphic Design that is both on-trend and cutting edge in a vibrant industry that is constantly changing and adapting.

The business offers a huge variety of products and they are constantly adapting to changing trends within the marketplace. Becoming a highly regarded supplier in the process.

As such, there will be a wide variety of projects to get involved with, often with varying deadlines, so you will need to be able to react quickly for both creative ideas and production artwork.

The ideal candidate will have a proven skills in Adobe Creative Suite, with hands-on expertise in Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign. Strong skills in creative layout, design and typography are essential, as is a good understanding of packaging branding, content and artwork.

You will be able to manage projects from concept to production, having an exceptional eye for detail and meticulously high-quality standards. Good understanding of artwork specification requirements for all packaging formats and substrates is also beneficial, as is understanding the pitfalls of packaging pre-press and packaging print processes/materials.
