HR GENERALIST / HR ADVISOR -- LEEDS - GBP25,000 BASIC SALARY + COMPANY CAR (MERCEDES A CLASS OR SIMILAR)
HR Generalist / HR Advisor / Human Resources Advisor required for our client who are leading organisation with the automotive industry.
If you are an experienced and qualified (CIPD Level 3/5) HR Advisor then this could be the role for you!
THE ROLE
* As a HR Generalist / HR Advisor your role will be to deliver a comprehensive HR provision for our client
* Provide support and direction with all employee related topics and matters to Department Head's, Managers and employees
* Being the first point of contact for HR advice, demonstrating sensitivity to confidential and personal issues or concerns, providing support to Managers on HR best practice, employment law and people management issues.
* Support with departmental restructuring and role re-definition when required, liaising with and supporting HoD's and Managers to ensure accurate job description content.
* Recruitment activity, of both permanent and casual worker roles, including advertisement and/or liaising with recruitment agencies, short listing of applications, interviewing and relevant testing of candidates, through to final sign off and appointment. Track recruitment activity to identify recruitment cost and potential cost savings.
* Ensure the Employee Handbook and associated policies are up to date. Manage and maintain regular reviews of the Employee Handbook
* As a Contract Hire and Leasing Consultant your role will be to sell our clients range of Contract Hire and Leasing services
* Keeping up to date with HR and legal changes, subsequently advising on actions to maintain compliance with UK employment law (i.e. GDPR / Brexit)
* Other HR duties as per Job Description and as business dictates
* You will be working from the Leeds office with site visits to branches and other offices across the UK as business requires
THE PERSON
* The successful HR Generalist / HR Advisor MUST Have similar experience with HR / Human Resources
* At least 3 / 5 years experience of handling complex cases, demonstrable experience working with all levels (Directors, Senior Management, etc.), sensitivity to confidential and personal issues or concerns, pragmatic and measured in approach.
* A minimum of CIPD level 3, ideally CIPD HRM Level 5
* Experience with Car Sales, Car Rental or Car hire environment is desired but not essential
* Experience of working within a retail environment is desired too
* Have a Full Driving Licence
* Live within a commutable distance to the Leeds office
