Following a review of our Health & Safety/compliance team, a newly created opportunity has arisen to ensure One Manchester are proactively complying with legislation with regard to fire and associated internal policies and procedures.

You will act as the responsible person for fire under the Regulatory Reform (fire safety) order 2005 and as the ‘Building Safety Manager’ responsible for high rise residential buildings safety cases as recommended under the Independent Review of Building Regulations and Fire Safety.

You will manage a cyclical programme of fire risk assessments and ensure all actions and recommendations required are addressed

  • NEBOSH National Certificate in Fire Safety and Risk Management
  • Level 3 Award in Education and Training (or working towards)

  • Experience of applying fire safety legislation and delivering fire safety improvement programmes.
  • Experience of managing Contractors to successfully undertake regulatory compliance works to occupied and leasehold properties.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

If you have previous experience and skills for this role we would like to hear from you.

In return, we offer attractive conditions of service including flexible working and excellent pension provision.

Interviews/assessments are expected to take place on Monday 17 December 2018 and you will need to be available on this date if shortlisted.
