Home-Start Hull is a local charity offering support, friendship and practical help to families with at least one child under five.
Apprentice Play Worker
30 hours per week (inclusive of training), £3.70 per hour, rising to minimum wage after 12 months.
Home-Start Hull’s Play Worker with support from the Apprentice Play Worker, will play a key role in planning and delivering sessions for an After School Club in East Riding. Previous experience of working with children and families is essential.
You should be self-motivated and friendly, able to work independently within the community to deliver a high quality service, and ideally have some experience of staff supervision. To be successful, you will have excellent communication skills and be able to develop and maintain strong working relationships, both within the organisation and externally. Car driver and use of own car essential.
