Job Overview
A CARE assistant is responsible for:
• Providing for the personal needs of the service user including personal CARE.
• Liaising with family members and external agencies
• Relationship building with service users
• Planning routines which help service users achieve day-to-day activities
• Demonstrating empathy
• Being Friendly and supportive
• Being flexible and able to cope with stressful situations
• Commitment to providing CARE and support to children and adults with mental health issues
• Work well as part of a team
Requirements:
* At least 6 months care experience in the past 3 years
* Drivers desirable but not necessary
* Being Friendly and supportive
* Being flexible and able to cope with stressful situations
* DBS no older than 3 years old Desirable
* Mandatory care certificates Desirable but refresher training available
* Work well as part of a team
