Our client is recruiting on behalf of a specialist provider of payment solutions and the leading provider of early payment solutions.
With ambitious expansion plans on the horizon, they are now looking for a Supplier Relationship Manager to support clients in engaging their suppliers to introduce them to the payment solutions.

As a Supplier Relationship Manager, you will be tasked with ensuring all parties involved in the early payment solutions are engaged and onboard with the process, working closely with clients to identify new opportunities, and making the sell to significant suppliers, negotiating benefits and costs.
Specifically, the company provides an early payment capability which suppliers value and are prepared to give a small rebate based on receiving early payment and other value-adding services from their customers. The rebate is determined by exactly how early the payment is made to the supplier and is deducted through a fully automated process.
In order for the solution to be successful, both parties need to be engaged by the payment solution, aware of the process and on-boarded by the company. And that’s where you come in.
- Work with a small portfolio of clients to identify high-value opportunities within their supply base
- Engage the high-value suppliers to bring them onto the programme, selling the benefits and added value of the payment solution
- Support in shaping strategy and plans to engage suppliers
- Execute negotiations with suppliers
- Deliver a digital marketing and supplier engagement programme of activity
To be considered as a Supplier Relationship Manager, you will need:
- Previous experience of negotiating deals with suppliers
- Experience of winning business in a B2B context
- An understanding of procurement issues including sourcing and contracts, purchase to pay practices, supplier relationship and category management
Experience of using Salesforce or a similar CRM system would be beneficial to your application, however this is by no means essential.
This is the ideal role for someone who has previously held the role of Supplier Relationship Manager, Account Manager, Client Manager, Customer Manager, Purchasing Executive, Procurement Executive, Buyer, Supply Chain Manager, Client Account Manager or Customer Account Manager.
