PK Education are honoured to be working with a specialist SEMH School in Northumberland that are currently looking for candidates to work 1:1 with pupils in both the primary and secondary setting within the school. Both roles start ASAP.
We are looking for an outstanding practitioner with excellent communication skills and the ability to engage & inspire young people who demonstrate extremely challenging behaviour.
You will work with Primary/Secondary/ Post 16 pupils with additional needs. You must:
- have experience of helping young people with SEMH needs.
- be an effective communicator
- be able to work flexibly to meet the needs of individuals within the group
- have a thorough understanding of differentiation within the classroom
- be able to provide a calm and positive presence
You will have extensive experience working with learners with extreme behavioural difficulties.
All pupils receive individualised programmes which support their transition into the school environment.
The primary activity of the school is the provision of specialist education services to young people with SEMH needs.
The school offers positive outcomes to young people of school age with SEMH needs whether that is high functioning or low ability.

Current DBS registered with the DBS Update Service - if you do not have a DBS registered online PK Education will provide full assistance in getting you one.
