Our client, a leading Medical Device company requires an experienced Electronics and Electrical Assembler/Engineer with some Mechanical experience to work within their Production Department.
You will be required to work Monday to Friday, hours can be discussed / are flexible.
This will start as a temporary contract for 3 months but then may be extended or go permanent.
Experience needed -
*Previous working experience as an assembler within engineering environment.
*Previous experience in assembling delicate electro-mechanical products.
*Previous experience of soldering, ideally to IPC standards.
*A good knowledge and understanding of engineering diagrams and circuits.
*Any experience of testing using test devices such as the Rigel is useful.
*A basic knowledge of Ohms law would be beneficial but not essential.
*The ability to read resistor values from their colour codes and identify different types of components.
*The ability to understand and calculate the combined values of parallel resistors and capacitors.
Duties will include -
*Assembling and soldering of various products (cables and equipment).
*Mechanical assembling of various products.
*Basic testing using different pieces of Automatic Test Equipment.
*Working as part of an enthusiastic, hard working team.
*Possible progression to test and repair of electronic equipment.
