Assembly Operative

We have a new and exciting role available as an Assembly Operative in Erith, DA18 4AR! Where you will benefit from fixed shifts, weekends off, a friendly working environment and loads of opportunities to progress!

As an assembly operative you will be working Monday to Thursday fixed night shifts from 19:00 - 07:00. With weekends off!!

Pay Rate as an Assembly Operative:

• GBP8.03 per hour with expected 44 hours per week

Your responsibilities as an Assembly Operative:

• Assemble ready meals to the required standards & specifications
• Operate the warehouse equipment safely and effectively for production processing
• Identify and report unsafe operations to management immediately
• Maintain the warehouse area to ensure it is clean, safe and organized
• To undertake training and to assist in training other or new members of staff as required
• To work at all times in accordance with the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974 and to follow all company procedures

Your Skills and Attributes:

• A good team player capable of delivering excellent results
• A positive "can do" attitude.
• Position requires good level of English as you will be expected to pass training and assessments
• Ability to understand basic Health and Safety
• Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards
