Building Services Engineer - Day Covers
We are currently looking for Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineers to provide day covers/short term sickness cover with several of our clients based in Central London. The work will be varied week to week and would be ideal for someone looking for work on days off from a permanent shift role/days off from college whilst studying/someone who wants some flexibility in their work life. All of the work would be between Monday and Friday and would normally be 8hrs a day between the hours of 7am and 7pm, there would also be occasional shift work.
Duties
-Provide PPM & reactive maintenance in commercial office environment.
-Carry out electrical and mechanical planned maintenance tasks and complete maintenance report documentation.
-Carry out repairs on electrical and mechanical assets and complete report documentation.
-Liaise with the Client where required, to minimise inconvenience associated with the maintenance or repair service provided.
-Carry out routine plant room checks as directed by the Site Manager / Supervisor.
-Carry out statutory maintenance checks as scheduled and update relevant logs. For Example Fire, Water Hygiene, Emergency Lighting.
Qualifications & Experience
-Must hold a formal electrical qualification & be fully qualified electrically
-Minimum 2 years in electrically biased role in a building services environment
-Experience in electrical & mechanical tenant services in a pressurised environment
