This organisation is hiring for an experienced Senior Designer on behalf of their leading/established legal client in Central London.
Seeking someone with a creative flair, having exposure of working within a professional services environment.
Key requirements
- Work and liaise closely with Creative Director regarding project work
- Excellent customer service with the ability to extract salient information from a client regarding their requirements
- At least 5 years' experience working within the design field.
- Excellent communicator.
- Able to build effective client relationships based on trust & flexibility.
- Develop and maintain relationships with team and key stakeholders.
- Provide cover for workflow or Creative Director.
Position Expectations
- Must show initiative and good judgment and be able to work independently.
- Ability to multi task and oversee multiple projects at any given time, as well as perform accurately under time pressures and constraints
- Must have the ability to concentrate in an environment of multiple demands and distractions.
- Confident in bringing ideas and creativity to projects, whilst working within a broad range of design guidelines across a variety of artwork collateral
- Maintains exemplary attention to detail and a personal commitment to consistently producing high quality, accurate, creative work.
- Must be able to maintain confidential information and work in a fast-paced, dynamic and creative environment.
- Able to work effectively with colleagues of all levels in an organisation.
- Seeks and responds positively to all forms of feedback (client/line manager/appraisal); learning from experience.
- Strongly self-motivated; always adopts a 'can do' approach; takes pride in work and the larger organisation.
- Develop an in depth knowledge client's branding guidelines.
- To effectively carry out briefs from clients or Creative Director, providing creative solutions/direction as well as branding and take ownership of these projects.
Personal Success Characteristics
- Excellent InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator skills.
- Good skills in PowerPoint, Visio, Word and Outlook.
- Working knowledge of Excel helpful.
- Skills in Premiere and After Effects advantageous.
- Creative flair.
- Confident in bringing your own ideas and creativity to projects.
- Excellent communication skills and strong client liaison.
- Ability to work to timeframes and produce accurate work.
- Attention to detail required with the ability to work under own initiative.
- Work well as part of a team.
Previous Experience
- At least 5 years' previous creative experience in a professional service environment.
- Experience of working within a brand's guidelines.
Professional/Educational Qualification
Portfolio of work.
- Qualified by experience; and/or
- Design or creative qualification advantageous.
Hours of Work: 37 hours per week
