Project Officer

Project Officer - 4 Month FTC - GBP33-39K Pro Rata - Public Sector

Our leading Public Sector client is looking for a Project Officer to come on board for a 4 month Fixed Term Contract to work within the Policy, Funding and Regulation team in Strategy and Planning.

Main Duties:

• Close working with the Programme Manager (and other members of the team) to ensure that the organisation submits high quality submissions and that policy implications are understood for the organisation currently and into the future.
• Co-ordinating with a range of colleagues across the organisation to ensure timely collation and verification of evidence, production and approval of submissions to meet deadlines (both internal and external) as appropriate.
• Understanding, synthesising and disseminating complex policy documents; providing advice and clarification for colleagues across the organisation.
• Supporting the Programme Manager in planning and administering governance and reporting processes for programme activity.
• Supporting the coordination and delivery of training sessions and workshops.
• Developing and maintaining excellent working relationships across all areas of the organisation to achieve the timely completion of submissions to fixed, external deadlines.
• Deputising, where appropriate, for the Programme Manager when they are unavailable.
• Liaising with the organisation's Communications Team to ensure effective clear communication of activity to the wider organisation.
