Two Rivers Housing is an independent not-for-profit organisation based in the beautiful Forest of Dean, with a £22 million turnover. In 2003 we took on the properties previously owned and managed by the district council, and now we own nearly 4,000 homes across Gloucestershire and Herefordshire.
 
We are currently seeking a Finance Assistant on a permanent basis to process invoices, other financial documents and data in an accurate and timely manner. You will also be responsible for updating the relevant systems to ensure that reliable information can be provided upon request.  
 
Further to this you will proactively produce BACs runs and CIS returns along with effectively administering petty cash systems. Dealing with queries from suppliers, customers, employees, managers and all external bodies you will use your strong organisation and communication skills to deal with queries efficiently.
 
The successful candidate must have a good experience of working in a financial environment as well as strong verbal and written communication skills. The ability to work under pressure and the ability to use Microsoft Office and financial systems is required. Problem solving and decision making abilities are essential and a good general standard of education is needed.
