About the role

Our Rating Review Team is responsible for investigating challenges received from health and social care providers about the performance ratings we have awarded them following an inspection.

As a key member of the team, reporting to a Senior Rating Review Officer, you will be responsible for undertaking case management duties and the progression of requests for a review of ratings. Your duties will include: considering key issues and findings, the preparation of case summaries, and drafting final outcome letters.

You will also be accountable for providing administrative support (such as tracking cases, reporting, maintaining audit trails) throughout the lifecycle of a request for review, providing constructive feedback to stakeholders, and presenting at team engagement events.

About you

Educated to degree-level or with relevant experience in a comparable role, you will have exceptional organisational and communication skills and the ability to work independently and proactively to manage your own workload.

You will have excellent time management skills and be able to demonstrate the ability to manage a large caseload ensuring all reviews are completed on time and to a high standard.

The role would ideally suit an experienced case work officer or those working in legal, governance, quality assurance or audit roles with an aptitude for investigation and analysis, or others with a proven ability to display similar skills.
