We are currently seeking a flexible individual to join our team based in Wellingborough, to work on a Lower-Tier COMAH Site

The Site Maintenance Technician / Engineer Role:

Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing plant wide maintenance, to the highest possible standards whilst maintaining the company CMMS system, as well as working closely with a larger operations team

Key Responsibilities and Tasks:

+ Site wide maintenance repairs, fault finding, fault rectification
+ Maintaining Planned Preventative Maintenance system (CMMS)
+ Inspection & testing of storage tanks, pipework & IBC containers etc
+ Departmental support, with Operations and EHS&Q
+ Daily liaison with Engineering Supervisor and Shift Managers
+ Provision of effective and efficient response to equipment breakdowns
+ Contractor Management
+ Provide support for permit to work control.

We Are Looking For:

+ Flexibility, self-motivation and the ability to work using your own initiative
+ A maintenance technician, with recognized engineering qualification/apprenticeship
+ Previous experience of fault finding and a strong appreciation of Health & Safety within a COMAH environment
+ Previous experience on a COMAH site would be beneficial 
+ Appreciation of electrical systems and regulations
+ A reasonable degree of computer literacy is essential
+ Previous chemical industry experience is essential.
+ Previous industry experience as a Maintenance Fitter / Maintenance Technician / Maintenance Engineer / Shift Maintenance Engineer is essential.
