Alexander Daniels are currently recruiting for an experienced immediately available Purchase Ledger Clerk for a role based in Willenhall, Wolverhampton. This is a full-time position initially on a long-term temporary basis with a possible permanent opportunity upon completion.
You will be responsible for looking after supplier accounts, making sure payment terms are met and dealing with queries in a prompt and courteous manner, as well as liaising with other departments to find resolutions. Tasks include matching and processing a volume of invoices, dealing with payments and other general accounts payable tasks such as supplier statement reconciliation.
You will have strong purchase ledger experience and superb communication skills. You will be a self-motivated person who enjoys improving processes and delivering targets. The successful candidate must have good working knowledge of Accounting Packages and Microsoft Excel.
