Alecto Recruitment are currently representing a well established electrical security company based in Luton, who are now in the market for an Gate Automation & Access Control Engineer to join their team in the Bedfordshire / London area.

As part of the service team, you will be responsible for the service and repair of a range of automatic gates, barriers, access control and security access equipment in London and Hertfordshire areas.

The role and candidate:

Ideally, my client are looking for someone to work in a field based role with occasional travel to the office, working in mostly commercial and retail environments.

To be considered for the role you must be a successful Engineer, with experience of working on a range of equipment including gates, barriers, access contole, door entry, intercom, cctv, inruder alarms and more.

Candidates will have strong electrical and mechanical abilities. An Electrical qualification is preferred but not essential, as full training will be provided.

This company deals with high end clients, therefore the candidate must have strong customer relation and communication skills.

The Package:

• GBP27,000 - GBP30,000 per annum
• On Call 1 in 4 with GBP100 standby
• Overtime paid at preferential rates
• Plentiful Overtime
• Travel time
• Van, Fuel card and tools provided
• Extensive training and qualification support
