My client, a leading 3PL in Nothamptonshire is seeking a Transport Shift Manager.
Shift: Monday to Friday - Day Shift
Salary: GBP38,000
Person Spec:
National CPC Holder essential
At least 2 years' experience within Transport Management at senior level
Experience with food safety standards preferred
Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations.
Capability to build, lead and motivate a team.
Purpose of the role:
You will manage the Transport team to take responsibility for delivering a first class and professional delivery service for the UK network. Through compliance with food safety, BRC standards and company policies and procedures the team will achieve a proactive and dynamic approach to exceeding service level agreements. You will manage the Transport team through an industry leading telematics system and a culture of continuous improvement.
Accountabilities:
o Plan resources in line with budget standards
o Ensure that all team are fully trained to deliver the tasks required of them
o Meet and exceed all delivery and transport KPI
o Manage FLM's to deliver all KPI's
o Manage driver behaviour through telematics
o Ensure that all drivers are compliant with WTD and transport legislation
o All company policies and procedures adhered to
