I am looking to recruit an experienced, well qualified Analogue Electronics Engineer to join an established yet rapidly expanding market leading company.
Growth plans are being achieved and future continued expansion ensure opportunities for progressive engineers now and in the future.
This organization is working on multiple new prototype products and evolving their products for new applications with new industries, hence the growth.

Typical Achievements
1. Developed a range of electronic products requiring analogue electronic design (Power Supply and High Voltage experience an advantage)

Skills & Qualifications
1. Good Degree in Electronics Engineering or similar/related.
2. Experience of product development cycle and production handover.
3. Extensive knowledge and experience in the specification, design and development of analogue, digital and mixed-signal circuits and products.
4. Design for manufacture and test.
5. Working with mechanical designers in 3D CAD to develop products
6. Knowledge and experience in technical challenges around power supply design.
7. Strong bench test, debugging and prototyping skills, use of complex test equipment
8. Experience of Altium Designer for both Schematic Capture and PCB layout
9. Clear & concise report writing
10. Good written and spoken communications
11. Experience of change management and build control
12. Development and control of product type approval and production drawings
13. Use of MS Visio, Excel, Word, Outlook,

Non- essential but desirable
1. Knowledge of High Voltage standards and approvals process.
2. Knowledge and experience of EMC and LVD design approvals process
3. Exposure to UL design concepts and standards

Job Purpose:
To specify/develop products to an agreed requirement within agreed timescales; support products and provide relevant information to the production department

Main responsibilities:
1. Development of products to agreed requirements and timescales including Project Leadership/Management
2. Generation of product test and verification/validation information and reports.
3. Liaise with internal and external customers on product/production issues.
4. Compile product data and test procedures for Production.

Main objectives:
1. Provide high quality product design services to the company.
2. Provide product designs that fulfil their requirement specifications.
3. Provide high quality information to the Production department.
4. To work in a proactive and independent manner, working on own initiative.

High Impact tasks
1. Provide Project leadership and Management to deliver projects on time, on specification and on budget
2. Input into product requirement and functional specifications.
3. Produce product schematics and PCB layouts.
4. Provide certification information packages
5. Liaise with internal and external customers as necessary.
