Risk & Safety Executive - Cities, Malta, Italy, Portugal

Reporting to the Regional Risk & Safety Manager, the Risk & Safety Executive (Overseas Operations) will be responsible for providing comprehensive administration and data support to the Jet2holidays Risk & Safety Team, primarily for their specific regional sub-team.

You will record and manage all incidents and illnesses that are reported to you, liaising with stakeholders and UK and overseas counterparts in assigning actions to ensure that all appropriate remedial / follow up measures are undertaken. You will also schedule and manage the day to day appointments for the Regional and Overseas R&S Managers (ORSMs), arrange travel, assist in confirming that rectification works have been completed and help ensure that any evidence is obtained and recorded. Obtaining and filing all Operating Licences, Public Liability insurance, Legionella 15pp, other relevant documentation and any restriction letters from suppliers and tracking and managing excursion and transport audits being undertaken by 3rd party Agents and external contractors is vital to the success of this role.

In addition, you will monitor illness and incident notifications and provide reports to the Regional and Overseas R&S Managers, processing regular daily and weekly reports for property / transport / excursion audits and follow up with relevant stakeholders where necessary.

The successful candidate will be IT competent, particularly with Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint. You will be a good communicator and have excellent time management skills, be solutions orientated and able to work to tight timescales on both individual projects and as a part of a team. You will be proactive, able to prioritise and become knowledgeable on risk and safety, especially in the overseas holiday environment.
