Salary: 35K - 45K Dependent on Experience

One of the UK's Leading Waste and Recycling Companies.
Purpose and Responsibilities
Our client is looking for an experienced Depot Manager to be responsible for the Operational and Commercial activities for one of their busiest depots. This will include supporting and leading a team of dedicated Operations and Administration staff; as well as managing visitors, customers, drivers and contractors when on site. It is also the responsibility of the Depot Manager to ensure the depot is working in line with Health & Safety regulations and Industry legislation.
Key Responsibilities
Ensuring compliance with all company procedures
Maintaining, monitoring and controlling the required quality of product
Monitoring and meeting production targets, yield, waste and down time
Monitoring and maintaining processing targets and controls
Ensuring and maintaining the maintenance of plant and equipment.
Monitoring and controlling stock levels.
Monitoring and promoting efficiency
Ensuring adequate investigation of non-complying product
Issuing of daily, weekly and monthly reports with analysis of data to senior managers and directors
Person Specification
Ability to negotiate effectively
Health and Safety focused
Works well under pressure and to tight deadlines
Have outstanding managerial skills
Exceptional communication/management skills
Required Qualifications and Experience:
Depot/Operations Management: 5 years
Waste Management/Recycling Industry Experience: 3 Years
WAMITAB/COTC - Ideal
IOSH/NEBOSH - Ideal
Driving Licence - Essential
