We currently have an opportunity for a Multi Skilled Engineer based in Carlisle. This role will include providing a technical engineering service with minimum supervision to the Atalian Servest FM client in respect of mechanical & electrical servicing, repairs, maintenance and installation. The candidate will additionally be required to undertake the service and maintenance of other assets / trades were deemed competent to do so.
Main duties and responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- To undertake works issued through the helpdesk within set time frames so that the customer expectations are met
- To undertake contractor control duties on behalf of the client, including monitoring of contractors and their workmanship, so that relevant standards are met.
- To ensure that equipment operates to specified performance criteria and conform to agreed company standards
- To evaluate performance and ensure the proper servicing and maintenance of equipment under contract to the company is carried out.
- To be fully aware of contractual requirements and customer needs at all times.
- To provide a professional service and represent the company in a way which ensures customer satisfaction.
- To ensure that administration requirements are actioned on time and all necessary documents / records are maintained accurately.
- Working in a safe manner at all times, complying with current Health & Safety legislation and Servest FM H&S policy.
Skills, Experience and Qualifications
- Qualified Plumbing qualification NVQ level 2/3
- CSCS card
- Previous experience working within Facilities Management.
- Full clean driving licence

- Ability to work on own initiative and or as part of a team.
- Ability to work safely at all times and to the Health & Safety requirements/regulations.
- Possess effective communication skills
This role will require Disclosure Scotland Clearance. Baseline or other similar security clearance may also be required.
Hours and Environment
This role covers the Carlisle area, however you may be required to travel further afield. Working hours between Monday to Friday 8am - 4:30pm and additional working where required in line with access and downtime for contract related works. You will also be required to work an on-call rota.
