Data Protection Officer - GDPR - Data Protection Act - London

Our client one of the UK's leading payments organisation are in the market and recruiting for a Data Protection Officer to lead their DPO team in London.

In this position the DPO will ensure that the company complies with the UK Data Protection Act 2018. The ideal candidate will have experience in working within GDPR guidelines and with working in contact with the Board of Directors. Helping to ensure the business has proper systems of control over the personal data that it holds is a key part to this role.

Essential Skill set:

• Extensive experience as a regulator and auditor
• A well-developed commercial understanding of standards and governance
• Highly organised and able to manage a broad range of responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
• A comprehensive understanding of the practical application of the legislation and official guidance relating to processing information and personal data

Please note: A successful candidate will have in-depth knowledge of Data Protection Act (1998 and 2018)
