Joiner / Fitter

Due to expansion, we are now looking for a Joiner / Fitter for a highly reputable and well-established Joinery Business based in York, North Yorkshire.

As a Joiner / Fitter you will have previous experience working both onsite and within a workshop and must be happy to work in both environments and able to confidently work on a variety of products. The successful candidate will work primarily with internal joinery products, custom making high quality products for both Commercial and Domestic clients.

The Role:

• Work on a range of joinery projects within the workshop
• Provide a bespoke Joinery service to both domestic and commercial clients
• Ability to accurately follow plans to create a high-quality finish
• Use a range of hand tools and power tools
• Adhere to the companies Health and Safety procedures

The Person:

• Must have previous hands on workshop experience in a similar role
• Strong interpersonal and team working skills
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients
• Ideally knowledge and experience of joinery methods, tools and techniques
• Proven ability to carry out work to a high-quality standard
• Good people skills
• The ability to drive would be beneficial
