Employment Legal Advisor - TUPE,Tribunals - 9 months FTC Maternity Cover - Our client is based in Northampton but commutable from Bedford, Milton Keynes and Leicester are a FTSE 100 Multichannel retailer operating from more than 2000 sites and employing over 30,000 people.

They are looking for an experienced Employment Legal Advisor ( TUPE) - initially for 9 months Maternity Cover on a fixed Term basis so to all intents and purposes you are treated like a permanent member of the team but the agreement is for 9 months so paid holidays, eligibility for bonus etc and will be reviewed at the end of that time. Of course this does get your foot in the door at a leading FTSE 100 business and a chance to experience what the business area and company are like perhaps for a long term benefit ....

Experience and previous focus of handling TUPE process, tribunals, grievances etc are ideal for this particular role.

My client have an exciting and varied Employment Legal Advisor opportunity within their engaged Shared Service Employee Relations Team, based in Lodge Farm - Northampton. Working with the Head of Employment Legal Services on Employment Tribunal cases. To assist in preparing the Company's ET3 responses, corresponding with the tribunal, preparing an early case assessment to identify merits and potential risk and the Claimant's representative, collation of bundles and drafting statements from Company witnesses.

If you have a personal drive and ambition to achieve set standards and deadlines, then this varied opportunity is the next challenge for you to develop your current ER experience and will utilise your CIPD/part CIPD or Law LLB qualification. You'll need to be passionate in providing a collated service to our colleagues, which includes advising the business on the following: employment legislation and mediation, TUPE processes and legal compliance. Your employment law knowledge and experience will be further utilised by reviewing and amending company ER policies as legislation requires, whilst working with Business Partners on business critical HR projects.
