Shifts cover daytime and sleepovers, care covers 24/7 we can sometimes be outside Bath, during both the week and weekend. Most common one to one shift examples are: 10:00–18:00; 18:00-sleepover-10:00; 18:00-18:00 [including sleepover] (these shifts can be combined to cover longer periods of time). Dedicated hours are also booked to cover specific responsibilities in addition to normal one to one working.

The following qualities are required: Patience, honesty, have a good sense of humour, cope with working on a one to one basis, have good common sense, applying initiative without taking control. As well as being adaptive to a range of circumstances, work efficiently to tight timeframes, and importantly be sensitive and respectful to my individual needs and wishes, when offering personal care and health support. An ability to assist with typing and note taking, have good written English language skills, (particularly desirable as support is required to format my academic work). Reliable and trustworthy, good understanding of nutrition. Drivers particularly welcome.
