A designer and manufacturer of high presicion, electro-mechanical products supplied to the oil & gas, marine and energy industries is now looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join their growing team, based in Warwickshire.
Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will be tasked with designing high precision, hazardous environment equipment. You will have the luxury of designing complete new products, managing scope changes and incremental upgrades to existing products using Solidworks.
Some of your responsibilities are listed below:
* Designing renewable technologies
* Pyrolysis plant process engineering and materials flow
* Design of small test equipment for prototype and investigative testing
* Systems integration of multiple mechanical, electrical and electronic technologies
The ideal candidate will be experienced with Solidworks, although other similar packages will be considered. Experience of designing products with sheet metal and piping is essential, along with provision and distribution of revision controlled technical drawings, including welding details, assemblies and BOM's (Bill of Materials). If you have knowledge of Electrical Control Systems and Digital / PLC systems, this would be advantageous.
