Shift Supervisor
Permanent
Location: Swansea
Salary: GBP25,000.00 - GBP30,000.00 per annum
My client is a growing manufacturing company based in Swansea, this is a key role supporting the senior management team to ensure that every shift is run efficiently and in accordance with the company policies and procedures. You will directly lead, coach and inspire all team members on your shift to ensure they provide total customer satisfaction and a great product at all times.
Duties and responsibilities
Responsible for the supervision of staff, supervision of production and quality targets responsible for the efficient running of production processes
Responsible for the product being produced in line with the companys quality systems, processes and procedures
Monitor, measure and report on production hourly throughout the shift
Ensure that staff follow Health and Safety procedures, Training guidelines and are using the appropriate PPE
Ensure that the shift is utilising its resources effectively
Ensure paperwork is completed accurately, timely and ensure strict compliance traceability
Report any problems that could affect production to the Shift Manager
Any other duties as required
Skills, Qualifications and experience required
5+ year food manufacturing experience
Excellent leadership and communication skills
Hardworking, efficient and punctual
