Test Assurance Analyst

Becoming a Test Assurance Analyst with DCC Smart Metering:

Fantastic opportunity to secure a long term contract with the DCC. The Test Assurance Analyst role will include engagement with the Programmes, Projects and Service Providers on relevant testing matters. Working for the DCC Test Assurance function the Test Assurance Analyst is responsible for testing undertaken across the DCC services and supporting users testing against these systems. The role is based in Preston Brook on an initial 6 month contract.

What you will do:

• Support the test assurance leads in working with the Service Providers on system testing matters.

• Review how the detailed testing will be undertaken, evidenced and reported by the Service Provider

• Assure test completion through witnessing tests and inspecting test results

• Where required, will provide analytical support to other areas of the Test Assurance function

• Analysis of test evidence to confirm that established criteria have been met

• Production of routine and ad-hoc reports and timely escalation of issues to the Test Assurance Services Manager and Test Leads

Your experience will include:

• An experienced test professional with extensive relevant testing experience.
• Ability to understand complex functionality and architectures
• Possesses an understanding of testing standards and processes, and how these can be applied to a service provider
• Experience in witnessing tests and inspecting test results
• Demonstrates strong analytical skills, identifying any exceptions to the agreed test approach, proposing alternative solutions and appropriate responses
• Demonstrates strong communications skills - written & verbal
