OVERALL PURPOSE OF JOB:
Provide a comprehensive, practical control and instrumentation service.
Seek advice from the Area Engineer on all matters appertaining to Operational matters, Regulatory and Statutory compliance.
To ensure maximum availability of instrumentation and controls utilising safe, efficient, planned maintenance, calibration and fault resolution.
DUTIES
Quality Arrangements
Maintenance of plant and utilities to ensure appropriate and correct operation, to efficiently and reliably operate within specification while ensuring that records are maintained as required by Operational, Regulatory and Statutory practice.
Duties and responsibilities include:

Provision of a comprehensive Control and Instrumentation service, to the whole site, in accordance Calibration Processes within European Operations

Ensure maximum availability of plant and user equipment through efficient planned maintenance and prompt response to faults

Provide technical support for projects and assist with commissioning and hand over works for plant and user equipment

Ensure that all work on PPMs and Corrective works are completed and issued and closed down in full compliance with the Equipment Maintenance System

When required to raise and issue a Change Control Notification (CCN)

Raising and issuing Calibration Exception Reports where situations that deviate from the expected and found during maintenance activities on GxP qualified equipment, systems and utilities, which could affect product quality.

Planning of PPM and Corrective calibrations.

First line diagnostics and planning of the required remedial work.

Recognise spares requirements, order spares and make stock items as necessary.

Ensure suitability of test and measurement equipment and updating as necessary.

Initiate and receive Permits to Work in accordance with procedure.
QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE
Be able to achieve high levels of operational performance. Minimum of at least 3 years experience in a related industry with a HNC qualification.
