Procurement Analyst - Interim

SF Group are recruiting for an Interim Procurement Analyst to join a manufacturer based in Nottingham to cover long term sick leave. This role would be perfect for a someone who has purchasing and supply chain experience with strong systems knowledge, preferable SAP and Excel. The Procurement Analyst would be supporting the purchasing team to analyse spend data and support the preparation of upcoming tenders.

As a Procurement Analyst, you will be:
- Supporting the Procurement team, ensuring consistency in reporting and use of key templates
- Supplier identification; creating RFI's, RFP's, planning vendor interviews, identifying and analysing efficient strategy with strong emphasis on financial analysis in Excel
- Producing KPI reports and supplier data reports
- Supporting the delivery of cost down targets
- Leading low level procurement exercises, mainly at a tactical level
- Using multiple sources of data to support recommendations for the Senior Buyers

The successful candidate will have:
- Experience in supply chain and purchasing, preferably with manufacturing
- Analytical abilities to process and manipulate data of suppliers and stock levels
- Strong data interrogation and analytical skills supported by advanced Excel skills
- Ability to read and understand contract and pricing proposals to ensure educated business decisions are made that implement efficiency gains

Temporary assignment covering long term sick for a minimum of 12 weeks starting immediately

GBP16-17 per hour
