SALARY: GBP14.50 - GBP17.50 Per hour

EQUIPMENT - YOU WILL REQUIRE YOUR OWN TOOLS

SHIFT: Monday - Friday

HOURS: 40 hour week - 10pm - 6am

Agenda Partnership are currently recruiting several experienced HGV MECHANICS to work in Worksop.

My client is a well-established commercial vehicle maintainer/haulage company with a fantastic reputation in the industry.

Working on a large mixed fleet of heavy commercial vehicles the successful HGV Technicians will be required to undertake all aspects of vehicle service, maintenance and repair processes.

Particular areas of responsibility will be to: -

• Carry out routine maintenance and repairs on all makes of vehicles and trailers to VOSA standard
• Diagnose and rectify all types of faults
• Attend disabled vehicles at the roadside or at customer's premises
• Ensure all vehicles worked upon are handled carefully and that all precautions are taken whilst on the premises
• Liaise with parts department to attain parts
• Ensure Health & Safety regulations and safe working practices are adhered to
• Ensure appropriate clocking is made, all job cards and service sheets are completed in a timely manner
• Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and tidiness
• Maintain a thorough and current product knowledge and attend training courses

Awareness and understanding of health and safety requirements

The ideal candidates will be qualified - City & Guilds or NVQ to level three in commercial vehicle maintenance and repair or equivalent. However time served within the industry is just as important.
