Cleaner - Evenings

16 hours per week – Monday to Sunday, including alternate weekends

£6,530.22 per annum  

We have a Cleaner’s opportunity available at our Kathleen Rutland Care Home situated in Leicester Forest East.

You will be required to work 16 hours per week flexibly between 4:00pm-8:00pm Monday - Sunday; including alternate weekends (Saturdays & Sundays) as well as Bank Holidays to meets the needs of the care home and that of the service users.

Responsibilities include;

• Promoting and maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene within the Kathleen Rutland Home
• To follow cleaning schedules and plans
• To ensure safe use and storage of cleaning materials
• To operate mechanical cleaning aids such as vacuum cleaner, carpet cleaner, decontamination machine in accordance with operating instructions and safety guides ensuring they are safe to use, clean and defects reported.

The successful candidate will possess previous cleaning or domestic experience. Knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and good working knowledge of infection control procedures.

Previous experience of working with people in a residential or health setting is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.
